Gary joined FSS after many years as Director of Provider Audit for TriSpan Health Services. There, he oversaw the work of over 70 staff, including three State Audit Managers. His department was responsible for auditing over $3 billion in annual Medicare reimbursement. He also directed TriSpan's responsibilities for PRRB appeals. Prior to joining TriSpan, he was a Director at the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, where he developed a national reputation for providing expert technical assistance in Medicare Audit and Reimbursement to Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans, government agencies, and professional organizations. He also designed and delivered many highly regarded training programs that explained the intricacies of Medicare to fiscal intermediaries and providers.
Gary is a CPA licensed to practice in Illinois and Mississippi. He has been a member of the Illinois CPA Society since 1982. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northern Illinois University.
