DONNA KALAFUT

Donna joined FSS after many years working for the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association as a consultant in Strategic Government Initiatives, working with provider appeals. She headed the intermediary appeals process for many years and worked on special projects, many of which were focused on creating computer programs. Previously, she was a senior auditor for Health Care Service Corporation in Illinois. She audited some of the largest health care organizations in Illinois and worked with the FBI on several fraud cases. She also worked for a provider and two Medicare Administrative Contractors.
 

Donna received a Certification of Fellow from the Academy for Healthcare Management. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from DePaul University in Chicago, where she graduated with honors.
